Off the back of a 2011 season that featured record grids, and thrilling, close racing for both drivers and spectators, the Radical UK Cup continues to offer the UK’s ultimate endurance racing package in 2012, with an extended season and fresh calendar.
Radical is anticipating a larger-than-ever SR8 field in 2012, with recent confirmed orders of Radical’s flagship product we expect between 12-15 Masters Class cars at each round, alongside Radical’s evergreen SR3 RS in the Supersports Class.
Racers can now look forward to events from March to October, visiting the UK’s best-loved circuits including current British Grand Prix venue Silverstone. The Brands Hatch Grand Prix layout is back by extremely popular demand, and teams also have the opportunity to race at Spa-Francorchamps, the challenging Belgian circuit offering races in conjunction with the Radical Masters Euro Series, as do Silverstone and Donington Park, with capacity grids anticipated.
Radical continues its successful partnership with MSVR into 2012, as the level of competition and professionalism ever increases. The UK Cup offers a single- or-twin driver, 40-minute enduro race format, with an handicap formula balancing professional and gentleman drivers alike.
With Radical’s continuing trackside technical and spares support, and events televised on Motors TV and the Radical TV web TV service, the Radical UK Cup is Great Britain’s top national endurance racing series. Radical expects packed grids of up to 50 cars, and places will be offered purely on a first-come, first-served basis, so book early to secure your place on the 2012 UK Cup grid.
